Ras Ridi was born in Kingston Jamaica W.I. in Trench Town. His great love for Reggae Music sprang out of his roots, where his Uncle owned a sound system and played at the different Lawns that was around his area. He came to Dallas in 1997 where he linked with Jah Larry and Jah Stacy to join the family of Reggae DJ at KNON 89.3 FM. Being a Rastafarian, his love for Roots and Cultural Reggae music became evident.
